phoenix | October 29th, 2010 Snow Miku is basically a repaint of the Nendoroid Hatsune Miku with some transparent hair parts. It is created in commemoration of the Snow Miku in the 61st Sapporo Snow Festival. A Nendorid Puchi version was released earlier but this is the normal Nendoroid size. It was an event limited release in February 2010 during Wonder Festival 2010 Winter. It was then available to order on the Good Smile Company Online Shop. But being Good Smile Company Online Shop doesn’t take credit cards as the payment method and they don’t ship overseas, I had to get my hand on this by using Tokyo Hunter. The price from Tokyo Hunter was actually very reasonable that I didn’t want to spend more time to find other cheaper ways.

phoenix | October 26th, 2010 Believe it or not, as much as I am a Saber fan, I actually only own a single Saber figure in her standard armour – Clayz 1/6 Saber. The Clayz figure is a really old figure released back in 2005 and not particular the best Saber sculpture that was done. With a movie version of Fate/stay night anime announced, Good Smile Company soon announced a new 1/7 scaled Saber PVC in her armour. And that is Saber ~Triumphant Excalibur~. The figure is supposed to be released in July 2010, but it was delayed month after month. Finally it is is scheduled to be released on September 2010. Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works was released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 30, 2010. And soon after, there comes my new Fate/stay night Saber figure.
Saber ~Triumphant Excalibur~ 1/7 PVC by Good Smile Comopany (セイバー ~約束された勝利の剣(エクスカリバー)~). Original sculptor Tokunaga Hironori(徳永弘範). Released on September 2010 with an MSRP of ¥9,800.

phoenix | October 25th, 2010 I have posted previously on my Device Jaguar USB key and Tigatron USB key transformers operating USB key. Takara Tomy decided to release another repaint of the same USB key and call it Device Cheetus. And of course for the sake of completing the collection, I had to get my hand on one of those.
Takara Tomy Transformers Device Cheetah 2GB USB Memory (タカラトミー トランスフォーマー デヴァイスチータス). Released on May 2010 with a MSRP of ¥3,990.

phoenix | October 6th, 2010 It seems that I spoke too soon on the fact that I don’t own many male figures. Just two weeks after I made the comment of not owning many male figures on the Gintama Hijikata Toushirou post, two more male figure arrived. This time is two nendoroids from the Kuroshitsuji (or Black Butler) series — Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive. Sebastian has seen an earlier release from last year already, I didn’t purchase it then because I didn’t find the parts for Sebastian all that satisfying. This time with the release of Ciel, Good Smile Company included in Ciel’s package some extra parts for Sebastian that make him more fitting for his role as the butler. So with that, I purchased them both. Oh, you evil Good Smile Company, you know I wasn’t going to buy Ciel unless you package Sebastian’s part with it, I know you did that deliberately. 👿
Nendoroid Sebastian Michaelis by Good Smile Company (セバスチャン・ミカエリス) Original sculptor Plastic Arts(まるひげ). Released on July 2009 and re-released on September 2010 with MSRP of ¥3,500.
Here’s the box.

phoenix | October 4th, 2010 With that recent post of Porsche Boxster S Die-cast car, I just cant’ resist posting another somewhat Porsche related item that I’ve got in my possession. This time, it’s Porsche Chinese style! It all originated from the following picture that was taken by someone many years ago. This tricycle has the Chinese character 保洁 painted behind it and a number 10 in the middle. In Chinese 保洁 would literally translate into keep clean, or in this case it means sanitary because the tricycle is used by the sanitary department. The number 10 would just be the fleet number making this number ten in the fleet. However, if you put them together, 保10洁 or 保十洁 if we translate the number 10 into Chinese character, the phrase sounds exactly the same as Porsche (保时捷) in Chinese. So the photo above have been used all over the place for a long time as a fun poked as being the Chinese Porsche.
