The Disapperance of Suzumiya Haruhi Nendoroids

Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (涼宮ハルヒの消失) or The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi movie was released in theaters in Japan on February 6, 2010. It was released on Blu-ray and DVD on December 19, 2010 and that was when I finally had a chance to watch it. Now of course together with the movie, there are merchandises released such as nendoroids from Good Smile Company. So far two nendoroids are released from the Disappearance movie – Nagato Yuki and Suzumiya Haruhi and I’ve got them both.

First is the main character of The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. As much as the title say Suzumiya Haruhi, the main focus of the movie is actually on Nagato Yuki.

Here’s Yuki right out of the box. She’s wearing her big winter coat and muffler.

She also comes with a different upper body part wearing the cardigan. With this you can pose her holding the glasses or passing out the form. Comes with three set of faces, the normal face above, the smiling face, and a embarrassed face.

Unfortunately there’s no other hand or arm parts for her when she’s in her winter coat. So this pose is about the only one she can do when she’s wearing the coat. But I do like the embarrassed face better in this pose. 😆

Nagato’s parts can also be used to combine with extra parts in Nendoroid Suzumiya Haruhi Disapperance Version to recreate Suzumiya Haruhi when she’s in Kenritsu Kita High School. More below.

 

Suzumiya Haruhi is not the main focus of the movie, but being from the Suzumiya Haruhi series, everything involves Haruhi one way or another. So naturally Haruhi is the other nendoroid released.

This is what Haruhi looks like right out of the box. Haruhi’s got long hairs the Disappearance and she’s a little angrier.

Comes with a few different hand parts like holding the bag or pointing the finger.

Just like Yuki, Haruhi also comes with three different faces. The normal angry face, the happy face and this smiling face below. I like how Haruhi looks in long hair.

It also comes with extra parts including her short hair, the arm band, and the legs with long socks. When these parts are combined with Nagato Yuki’s cardigan upper body and lower body, you can recreate Suzumiya Haruhi as in the beginning of the movie when she’s in Kenritsu Kita High School.
